Ryan Byrd

Ryan Byrd is a highly experienced life settlement provider executive. Before coming to SLG, he worked as Assistant General Counsel at Magna Life Settlements, where he reviewed thousands of tertiary and secondary market transactions. He is an expert in the legal issues and regulatory requirements surrounding life settlement transactions and investment in the same. Ryan earned his law degree from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas in 2013 and his undergraduate degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas in 2004.

Before studying law, Ryan worked as a public middle school history teacher and coach. Ryan is also a combat veteran of the United States Army and served honorably in Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2008-2009. His hometown is Austin, Texas.
